Green gold is a crafting component introduced in the Blood and Wine expansion that is needed to craft green gold ore and orichalcum ore.
It can be found as random loot or purchased from the following merchants:
- Armorer in Hauteville
- Blacksmith at Ardaiso Quarry
- Blacksmith in Belgaard Manor, after he is rescued
- Lazare Lafargue in his workshop
- Trentin in his workshop in Hauteville
Green gold can also be obtained by dismantling green gold ore or jewelry junk items that have "green gold" in their names.
Trivia
- Green gold, in the real world, is known as Electrum and consists of a pure gold and silver mix. Electrum can occur naturally, but green gold is melted together. Whether or not the green gold present in the Witcher is chemically electrum is unknown.
