Lunn is the innkeeper of The Weary Traveler in Saint's Crossing, a tavern known for being the main gathering place for merchants, workers, and travelers in the region. He is also a member of the merchants' council that runs the village. Father of Maeve, he plays a secondary but emotionally important role in the events related to the Oberhasil troupe and the disappearances of teenagers around the Alderwood.
Biography
Lunn has spent most of his life running his establishment, working tirelessly to maintain a prosperous and well-frequented house. His tavern is known for its comfortable beds, its often lively hall, and its importance in the social life of Saint's Crossing.
He is the father of Maeve, who grew up in the inn, often present in the common room during her childhood. When Maeve disappeared to join the Oberhasil troupe in the Alderwood, Lunn believed her lost or dead, although no concrete evidence confirmed her fate.
Position Regarding the Alderwood
Lunn accepted the conditions proposed by Oberhasil only if the threat of the leshen in the Alderwood had been eliminated. A dangerous forest represented a risk for trade and local security. If this threat was resolved, he fully supported a peace agreement, considering that stability benefits everyone.[1]
Personality
Lunn is above all a pragmatic man. He evaluates situations from the perspective of stability and business. For him, peace is beneficial if it guarantees the safety of the roads and the patronage of his establishment.
He harbors preconceived ideas about Oberhasil, whom he imagines to be a reclusive mage preferring the solitude of the woods. Having never heard of the sylvans, he interprets events through his limited understanding of magic. He acknowledges that some mages conduct strange experiments but admits he does not understand them.
