Pegasus was a horse owned by the troubadour Dandelion, which he considered to be quite lazy, fat, and slow.^[1][2]

Notes

• Given Sapkowski's ironic sense of humor, it seems entirely fitting that Dandelion, promiscuous bard that he is, should have a gelding (castrated male horse).
