Goldenring was a Mahakaman metallurgist and an associate of Mariborian weapons salesman Rodolf Kazmer and fellow gnome Morrison.
Like many other gnomes, Goldenring possessed an eye for detail, with Kazmer remarking that he could refine a blade so well it could "shave a werewolf bald." He could also etch portraits into swords, using his state-of-the-art tools to achieve remarkable precision; he once showed these to Kazmer. Besides his metallurgist talents, he could also smell a fresh plate of dumplings from 400 paces.[1]
