Hunting gauntlets are light or medium armor gauntlets in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. They come in the following forms:

• Hunting gauntlets (starter)
• Hunting gauntlets (crafted)
• Hunting gauntlets (master)
• Hunting gauntlets (common)

Hunting gauntlets (starter)

This unique version of the gauntlets is automatically equipped on Geralt at the start of a new game. They are classed as medium armor, unlike all other hunting gauntlets, which are light.

Can be found quite often as random loot, and also:

• In the big chest near the Mill in White Orchard
• In the basement of the southeastern abandoned house in Mulbrydale
• In the treasure chest for The Dead Have No Defense
• As a reward for completing Ladies of the Wood

Can be found as random loot or purchased from the following merchants:

• All base game armorers except Zoltan Chivay
• Armors merchant in Nilfgaardian Army Group 'Center' Camp
• Merchant in the boatyard south of Refugees' Camp
• Merchant at Coast of Wrecks
• Merchant in Ursten
• Merchant at the sawmill northeast of Rannvaig
• Merchant in Mohrin Village
