witcher

Mahl was a werebbubb who, at the beginning of the second millennium, fell in love with a human girl.

Biography

Soon after the two got together, the girl decided to go against the wishes of her father, who saw Mahl as a base monster and eloped with her lover. Not being one to accept such a match, the father tried to hire a witcher to get rid of Mahl. Locating the two took only a short time. A werebbubb in that area drew attention, and several people were eager to get rid of the "intruder".

If the witcher decided it was just question of price: The witcher accepted the contract. Though skillful and attacking first, the werebbubb ultimately lost his life. His grief-struck lover was left to take care of his remains.

If the witcher chose not to murder Mahl: The witcher decided to spare Mahl, saying that although the Witcher Trials had taken his ability to feel love he could still recognize it in others. He then advised them to look out for each other. While the girl thanked the witcher, Mahl took off a powerful signet ring, reasoning that the monster-slayer would need it more than he did.[1]
