A trebuchet is a Northern siege weapon who makes use of the mechanical advantage of a lever. In Nilfgaard, during the Second Northern War in 1267, the cost of one of these engines was roughly 200 florens.^[1]

The following is considered game canon only and may contradict Andrzej Sapkowski's works.

In 1271, trebuchets were used by King Foltest's army to siege the La Valette Castle.^[2]
