Master was a witcher and instructor from the School of the Wolf, known for overseeing the final exams of witcher trainees.
For as long as anyone at Kaer Morhen could remember, the witcher known as Master insisted on being addressed by this title, leading the witchers to eventually forget his original name. As an instructor, he was responsible for overseeing the final exams of trainees. Upon their successful completion, he would present them with their bestiary and medallion.
This tradition eventually changed, with later Wolf School trainees receiving their medallions during their last trial instead.
Appearance
The Master Witcher is a middle aged man with short graying hair, pale skin and golden cat-like eyes. He wears a distinct red-black armor, which could be obtained in the game during a special event.
Glossary description
- He has asked everyone to call him Master for so many years that no one in Kaer Morhen can remember his real name anymore.

Notes
- The Master Witcher was used on Twitter as a brand mascot by the game's PR team. He had a dedicated twitter account[1] and would sometimes be featured on the game's official twitter or comment under tweets.[2]
- The game's official twitter account tried to popularize memes with the Master Witcher,[3] which is a typical tactic among brand accounts on the platform.
